I'm normally not a tiara girl, but put VSA Designs and Disney's Cinderella together in a collection and you know some kind of magic will happen. Inspired by my favorite artistic era, these jewelry pieces are adorned with rococo floral designs with VSA Design's own butterfly emblem to keep up with the fairytale theme. I was especially drawn to the gun metal collection because of course I'm a gal who likes to stick to her blacks. The black also makes what is usually more elaborate pieces more wearable for everyday. So, Corey, Anton and I hopped on over to downtown LA to shoot our post-apololyptic look during summer time's new golden hour. Thank God for Day Light's savings! I've been able to sneak in a lot more shoots because of this and have been completely obsessed with the lighting during this time.
The look? A modern day fairytale princess wandering the streets of LA with her cat-eye sunnies and favorite leather jacket. Haha. Of course I had to finish it off with my version of glass slippers, my jelly platforms by Jeffrey Campbell (see better view in older post here) that I always bust out when the warm weather rolls in. I love the idea of wearing something as romantic as this tiara and necklace and reformulating it into something for everyday wear. You can also wear it as a headpiece by placing it upside down and creating a updo around it. Perfect for keeping your hair out of your face for the upcoming heat. I'm also excited to be wearing a few of these tiaras for Coachella. Who else is going?
Major thanks to my boo, Anton for creating this look I envisioned for VSA Designs new collections. Another lookbook for their Piccolo collection coming up!
Another thank you to Corey for these amazing shots! My grunge fairy tale come true. Make sure to use hashtag #VSADreamsComeTrue when wearing their Cinderella collection for a chance to be featured on VSA Designs' social accounts. You can follow them @vsa_designs on Instagram and Twitter. A giveaway from this collection coming soon so stay tuned!
