[Sleek Chic + Life Updates]

Nothing like a sleek black dress and Robocop shades to make you feel like you can take over the world. Hello, Monday and hello May! Where have you gone?

These past few months have been a whirlwind! From shooting a campaign with Benefit Cosmetics to shooting with Garnier. I have been feeling like the luckiest girl, being able to be a part of such iconic brands in the beauty industry. I truly appreciate brands who break boundaries and use models that aren't blonde-haired, blue-eyed and five foot ten.

Speaking of innovative brands, just last week, I was lucky enough to be a part of Modcloth's new summer campaign and shot with them on a 2 day road trip in Palm Springs. I had such a blast with the team. This is my 4th campaign with Modcloth and I'm always in awe every time I work with the team as they have just as much enthusiasm about the creativity and fashion as they do about creating such a positive and inspiring environment. This campaign speaks to my old soul, creating old school summer vibes from big hair, red lips, and flamingo lawn ornaments. I heart their hardwork and passion and I can't wait to see/share the final images!

Most recently, this past weekend, I shot with a cool new Korean magazine called Seoul Vibes, a magazine that focuses on highlighting Asians in the media, specifically creatives who aren't mainstream. This magazine stemmed from a music background with a huge focus in K-Pop and Korean music but strives to highlight all Asians in the industry. I want to share everything that I've been up to in a video if any of you are interested. (Here's the latest video I just uploaded last week!) Please let me know in the comments section below!

But going back to this outfit, I always can appreciate an outfit that makes you feel as confident as you should be when you take on the day, take on your dreams. I love this little black dress that hits right below the knee to give an overall sophisticated touch to a sexy dress. I would normally pair this look with some stilettos, but you would expect that right? So, I went with some faux patent leather boots with lucite heels to give it a bit more edge. These have actually been such a closet favorite of mine. I've also been loving matte lips. My favorite lipsticks currently are from Dollhouse Beauty and every shade I have tried so far has been so killer. I have so much more to share with all you beauties! Stay close on the blog and social media, I'll be announcing a lot of fun new projects that I've been working on!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
