[Monochrome]

Yay! We finally made it happen! Ryan and I were finally at the same place at the same time! We found out serendipitously that we were both from Diamond Bar and we were both going to be there at the same time! Too perfect. We grabbed a quick coffee before venturing out to one of my most memorable childhood spots-- the Diamond Bar Library! My mom used to drag my sister and me there as kids during the summer and though at the time, I hated it, I'm grateful my mom instilled those habits for my sister and me. And Reading Rainbow! That was pretty much gold for me as a kid. That and Danimal Sprinkle Yogurts. Nom.

When in doubt, go monochrome. Stick with the same color palette and you will never have to think of a new outfit again. The best ensembles always play with or stick to the same color family. The rule "less is more" definitely applies here. I'm a big fan of effortlessly chic styles but as always I needed to add some edgy elements so I went with my bandana and lucite pumps from Nasty Gal.

And it's officially Spring! Hooray! Something about Spring just makes me happy-- the feeling of renewal and starting fresh perhaps? In any case, I hope all of you enjoy your first official weekend of Spring!
