Ladies Who Lunch

Fads. You just have to try it for yourself! Alfred Coffee & Kitchen, AKA blogger haven, on Melrose Place is nothing short of adorable. Hashtagged backdrops, vintage-inspired outdoor seating, and of course, the infamous mustache coffee sleeves. Yesterday, I gave myself permission to break my coffee hiatus to indulge in an iced americano with my lunch, which later gave me glorious heart palpitations. But of course, like any coffee addict, it was all worth it.

With the perfect 81 degree LA weather, I went with something basic so I can endure the heat. So thankful for after-holiday sales! I bought this linen tee from Zara as soon as I came back to LA to add to my minimal collection of basics I have in my closet. These American Apparel high-waisted shorts are my go-to shorts on casual days and I also love the vintage vibe it exudes. I had to go along with the theme and accessorize the look with 50's elements with my WildFox sunnies, red lips, and pop-art inspired necklace by Betsy Johnson

[the elements: Zara linen tee, American Apparel shorts, Stylenanda cardigan (seen here), Steve Madden heels, WildFox Couture sunglasses, Betsey Johnson necklace, Forever 21 nail polish]
