[Into the Woods]

[Into the Woods]

I can't believe we're taking in the last 2 days of 2014! It's been such a crazy year for me! First, I want to apologize for the lack of posts as I have been feeling like a complete nomad for the past couple of days as I am in the process of moving into my new place and have completely forgotten to schedule the Internet installation until the new year. Doh. So I'm currently channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw and working on this blog post at a local Starbucks. Breaking my usual iced coffee routine with a hot green tea latte for today's rainy weather. Mmm. Cozy feels.

How gorgeous is this scenery? One of my new year's resolutions is definitely going to be to go to more inspiring and beautiful places like this. This is Mt. Baldy, a very local mountain spot near my new place that I've never been to until this day. I definitely want to come back for a hike. Oh, yeah another resolution. More workouts. 2014 had only a handful, which contributed to my many sick days. Of course since it's coat season, I had to wrap myself in my mom's vintage Dolce and Gabbana fur coat. I love how the camel tones complement the red of this dress. Shift dresses always have a soft spot in my heart when it comes to dressing up. It's flattering for petite body types and it's a timeless silhouette that never fails to look good. I wanted to go a more casual route, so I went with these Dolce Vita boots I got for Christmas. And of course no outfit is complete with some accessories-- I had to go with gold to go with the warm tones of my wardrobe. I'm in love with these stunning earrings from Maison de Morgana. Vintage-inspired intricate earrings that still have an element of delicacy about them. I also love that the gem matches the red in my dress. Gotta love that color-coordination ;)

I've been wearing some version of these necklaces everyday since I got them at the Arts District Flea Market in downtown LA. If y'all haven't gone to this flea market yet, I highly recommend it! They have local artists, particularly jewelry artisans that feed your every stacking desire. I love that I can wear these necklaces by itself or layered together-- the beauty of minimal jewelry. You have to visit my gals, Abie and Marianne of Shop Hulma in the new year! They're the sweetest. (Also giveaway coming soon! :))

And of course those of you who are following me on Instagram, know that this Mofé Trifecta clutch has been my go-to for errand days or everyday. It's the perfect compact bag with three different compartments to keep all your belongings organized in the most perfectly functional and chic way. Go Mofé! ;)

I will be releasing another holiday look tomorrow! I'm still unsure of what I'm doing for the New Year's Eve. Seriously thinking about spending it at home with my dog. Haha. #Antisocial. Let me know what you guys are doing and wearing for New Year's Eve! I'd love to know! Happy new year's eve eve! ;)
