[Homecoming with PrettyLittleThing]
Although Homecoming is far from where I'll be this upcoming fall, I'd like to think I can revisit this time with a few of my favorite pieces from PrettyLittleThing's Homecoming collection. Looking back on my dance photos from back in the day, I can attest to this fact: less is more. Having been in a uniform school for the previous 3 years of my middle school life, I took every opportunity in high school to make the most of my freedom to wear whatever I wanted. And when it came to dances, oh you better believe I made it worth my while.
From the dress to the accessories to the hair and makeup, I was all over the place. However, if I were to do it all over again, I would probably opt for minimalism. So here I am trying to relive that moment all over again.
I would keep my hair and makeup very neutral and let my dress do all the talking. Though, I chose 3 very simple color schemes, the design and accessories work in perfect harmony to allow the best parts to shine through. I like dresses that highlight my back and legs so you can see why I chose these 3 dresses.

When it comes to accessories, you'll see why it's important, later in life, to invest in jewelry pieces you'll have for a long time. Go for something minimal and timeless. This way you'll be able to pair these pieces not only with your gorgeous dresses but also your casual wear. Maximize your investments! Your closet is meant to be filled with pieces you know you'll wear for a long time.
In conclusion, I would still absolutely wear these dresses now. Date nights, events, grocery shopping-- all appropriate! ;) Honestly, what you wear is up to you. So wear what you want, when you want. That is my big sister advice to you. You should always live your life without being worried about what everyone thinks about you. I think that is the number one thing I would say to 15 year old Ruby. Happy Homecoming and let the fall festivities officially begin!
